Spring is the perfect time to visit Kalimpong, known for its beautiful gardens, pleasant climate and Himalayan views.

Visits to Zang Dhok Palri & Thongsa Monasteries.

Interesting shopping including ahimsa silk shawls, tribal jewellery from Nagaland, quality prayer flags & incense.

Gangtok, Sikkim

Gangtok, Sikkim's capital city, is situated on a ridge with fantastic views of Mt Kanchenjunga. 

Visits to the renowned monastery of Rumtek, seat of the Karmapa. Chorten Monastery, residence of Dodrupchen Rinpoche & the palace.

Gangtok has a lovely mall with good food and shopping including a small Fab India.

Pelling, sikkim

Visits to nearby Kechopalri lake, the revered Tashiding and Pemayangtse Monastery. A gentle walk to the mystical and sometimes misty Sangyak Choeling. 

Incredible views of Mt Kangchenjunga, especially at sunrise. The highest mountain in India is a sacred peak & home to an important deity.

A fascinating mixture of old English and modern Indian, Darjeeling never fails to delight.

Visits to Sonada Monastery, Ogyan Kunsang Chokhorling Monastery & also to a small gonpa in Mungpu.
